You can now set a default value on any label column. When a default is set, every new task added to your board will automatically inherit that label — saving you from repetitive manual selection.

To set a default, open the column settings menu on any label column and choose your preferred default value. The default applies to all new tasks going forward and can be changed or removed at any time. Existing tasks remain unaffected.

This is especially useful for columns like Status, Priority, or any custom label where most new tasks start with the same value — letting you focus on the exceptions rather than the rule.
