Duplicate boards with or without tasks

Choose Setup only or Setup and data when you duplicate a board. Setup only copies the columns, views, empty task groups, automations and permission sets without any tasks, and works for boards of more than 1,000 tasks.

Import mailboxes into timelines

Drop a .pst mailbox file into Import files on a timeline to import every email in it, as if each had been uploaded on its own. Mailbox files are accepted by the timeline import only, not in JuristIQ chats or Insight.

Map spreadsheet columns in timeline imports

Import a spreadsheet from the Tables tab of a timeline's import panel and choose what each column becomes, from start date and title to people, tags or swimlane. Columns named like the template are filled in for you, and with AI access the others are suggested by AI.

Save a board as a template

Choose Save as template in a board's menu inside a matter to put its setup in the library of the matter's group. Group managers can use it, and organisation admins can also save to the Firm-wide Library.

Activity log names what made each change

The activity log records more changes across Flow, Timeline, Structure, Insight, Screening, documents, matters and sharing, and names the automation or external agent behind each one. On Flow boards, every cell change shows its previous and new value, and a date linked by an offset says which date it follows.

Bold, italic and lists in long text

Edit a Long text cell on a board to add bold, italic, underline, lists and links from its toolbar, or with Ctrl+B, Ctrl+I and Ctrl+U (Cmd on a Mac). The formatting shows in the cell and in Word exports, and text pasted from Word or the web keeps it.

Calendar legend choices saved on the view

When a board manager shows or hides a date column in the Calendar legend, the view keeps the choice for everyone. Date column colours set there apply across the board, including the dots on the Gantt.

Colour Gantt bars by a column

In the new Gantt, pick Colour in the toolbar to colour each bar by a Status, Label, Priority or Dropdown column, and Dates to show further date columns on each row. Board managers set both, and the view keeps them for everyone.

Copy automations to other boards

Choose Copy to other boards in an automation's menu, or Select to copy several at once, then pick from the boards whose automations you manage. Columns are matched by title and type, labels and task groups by name, and anything unmatched is picked by hand. Each copy is independent.

Create matters in any group

Let everyone in the organisation pick any group when they create a matter, under Policies in the admin panel's General page. They get access to the matter they create, not to the group or its other matters.

Drag several tasks at once

Export boards with their attachments

Turn on Include attachments in a board's Export menu to download the Excel or Word export as one ZIP, with a folder for each task holding the files from its Files columns. Only files you can open are included, up to 1,000 files or 1 GB.

Hide the summary row in table views

Turn off Summary row on the Columns tab of Edit view to hide the row that sums up each task group's columns in that view. The summary row appears only while Show all tasks (no scroll) is on in Board settings.

JuristIQ reads the whole timeline

With each message, JuristIQ in a timeline's chat reads its swimlanes, tags, people, stories and events, and changes any of them, along with story filters and display settings, from a single instruction. Every event is included on timelines of up to 150 events, and a deletion asks you first.

Swimlane borders and the timeline grid
